Advancetech Memory

Worlds-fastest-Memorychip
GDDR4
(Graphics Double Data Rate 4 th Generation chip).
Samsung Electronics South Korean’s top IT company has invented a new revolutionary Graphics processing chip which has world’s fastest speed in processing image and video . The chip is named as GDDR4 Graphics DRAM.
Using 80-nanometer production technology, the 4Gb/s (2.0GHz) is 66 percent faster than today’s fastest commercially available memory ? a 2.4Gb/s GDDR4. The new 4Gb/s graphics memory, offered in a 512Mb density, has a 32-bit data bus configuration.
Manufacturers of graphics processing units (GPUs) and video cards have shown high interest in the new memory technology, and they are ready to make a sample.
This invention will lead out a new class of video cards in the near future also expect a wide range of Graphics card that can cope with the demand of future games.

SDXC Memory Cards: Storage Space of 2TB on a single SD Card
We have seen a lot of action in memory cards development in the past year. With every passing month there was an enhancement in the storage devices making them cheaper, faster and more bigger. But CES 2009 brings an amazing surprise and a dramatic improvement in the field of portable storage. The new specification of memory cards known as SDXC( SD eXtended Capacity) can store hundreds of gigs of data on a single card.

Super Talent Announces Two new SSD’s
We have seen a bunch of solid state drives this year. With every launch it keeps getting better and cheaper. But Super Talent is the company that always rolls out their drives challenging the current drives in market and leaving them far behind in the playground of storage technology. The company today announced two new Solid State Drive’s namely the UltraDrive LE & ME. Not only the first character in the product name but there are some more differences between the two.

Bluetooth 2.2 with Improved DTR coming in Mid 2009
Bluetooth Technology have been in existence since much time and it is being widely used in portable devices such as Mobile’s, Digital Camera’s, etc. But a major drawback of Bluetooth remains i.e. its slow speed. If we have to transfer huge files from our mobile devices to our PC, we still prefer connecting the phone via cable rather than using the in-built Bluetooth. The only reason is that DTR or Data Transfer Rate is high when connecting with cable as compared to a Bluetooth connection.
To overcome this problem with the current version of Bluetooth, The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) will release Bluetooth 2.2 in the end of Q2 of 2009. The new release will include a specification of High Speed Bluetooth. It will allow users to transact and exchange the data at a very high rate.

Toshiba launching 16GB MicroSDHC Memory Card
Toshiba Corp, a leading innovator in memory card technologies will be launching 16GB microSDHC card next month. The new card will be launching in December 2008 but the mass production will start from January 2009. Also the two old cards have been re-furbished to comply with Memory Card 2.0 standards thus raising the overall read/write speed of all the cards.

Silicon Power unveils eSATA/USB SSD flash drive
USB Drives with amazing features and capacity are bring introduced everyday. Silicon Power has launched the eSATA/USB SSD flash drive. It is not a normal USB drive. It is a high capacity SSD drive that has external Serial ATA and mini USB dual interface. The company is claiming that it has 8 times the write speed of normal USB.
